This jacket was Josheph’s favorite jacket. Only problem was that is was trying to give out on him: holes in the elbows, fraying fabric around the neck of the collar, etc. He wanted to get this piece up and running again, with hopes of even getting married in it! So with the use of a few black accent stripes, I stabilized the neck, and decorated the pockets/buttons with the same fabric to make it more intentional. I also recut the shoulders, brought in the waist, hemmed the coat, and of course fixed the elbows with a little creative repair.
