We can upcycle your wardrobe or teach you how.

Our specialty is revamping forgotten items from the closet, family heirlooms or thrifted finds, and mending wardrobe favorites. We expanded into our sewing lounge so we can teach others how!

RETHINK Tailoring and Sewing Lounge’s mission is to keep as much out of the landfills as possible. Here’s how we do it:

View Our Work →

Our storefront opened on March 14th, 2020 at 3449 Bloomington Avenue, and closed the next day due to COVID-19. Our focus changed many times to best meet the needs of the community. We are still building our business back to our original vision, but it takes time. We are currently hosting daily classes, and upcycling more designs for sale.

Our tailoring waitlist is currently full and we are not accepting more clients at this time. If you want to learn how to complete your project yourself, we would love to mentor you through it. Please email info@rethinktailoring.com with any questions, or see what classes are are currently offering here.

Come shop our Green Boutique with upcycled clothing and jewelry by us and other local artists. We also have an assortment of secondhand-sourced sewing supplies available as well. We are open for shopping and online order pickups M-F 3-6 and Sat 10-2pm, masks required to enter.
*Please no walk-ins for repairs or tailoring.

In a world of fast fashion, we seek to offer a different option for shopping: Mend your wardrobe, shop your closet, shop the consignment/vintage stores, don’t give up on those family hand-me-downs, and build your me-made wardrobe with pieces that will stand the test of time.
